Serves: 8-12

Ingredients
1 lb Vine ripened tomatoes
1 tbsp Extra virgin Olive Oil
2 clove garlic
1/2 tbsp fine-grained sea salt
1 tsp honey

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to broil. Pierce each tomato with a small knife and place tomatoes in a glass baking dish. Broil tomatoes for 15 minutes, turning halfway through cooking, until skins are split and begin to turn brown. Once cool, peel off tomato skins and puree tomatoes in a food processor.
  2. Combine olive oil, garlic and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Saute until garlic starts to turn golden, 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Add honey and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
