Spiced Pears & Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients
2 large Pears
1 large Sweet potato
1/2 cup Butter (melted)
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon Sea salt
1/4 cup Honey (divided)
1/4 cup Pecans

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375. Line a rimmed baking sheet. Wash and dry the pears and sweet potato.
  2. Cut the pears into quarters, then cut out and dispose of the cores. Cut the potato into 1/2 inch thick wedges. Put the pears and potato wedges into a bowl.
  3. Pour the melted butter over the pears & potatoes, then sprinkle them with the cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Toss to coat.
  4. Put the pears and potato onto the prepared baking sheet, then pour any liquid from the bowl over them. Bake them for 20 minutes, turn them over, then let them bake for 10 to 15 minutes longer.
  5. Drizzle 1/8 cup of honey over the pears & potatoes, then brown them under the broiler for a short time. (watch to make sure they don't burn)
  6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, then drizzle the remaining honey over the pears & potatoes and sprinkle the pecans over them, then serve warm.
