Ground Cherry Pie

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups ground cherries
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. all purpose flour
2 Tbsp. water
1 unbaked pie shell
3 Tbsp. all purpose flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Place hulled ground cherries in pie shell. Mix brown sugar and 1 Tbsp. flour and sprinkle over cherries. Sprinkle water over top.
  3. Mix together 3 Tbsp. flour and 3 Tbsp. sugar. Cut butter in until crumbly. Top cherry mixture with crumbs.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 375 degrees and continue to bake for 25 minutes.
