Creamy Salmon Linguine

Ingredients
8 ounces Uncooked linguine noodles
1 bunch Broccoli (cut into florets)
2 tablespoons Butter
2 Garlic cloves (minced)
2 cups Heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
1 pound Cooked salmon (flaked)
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Pepper
1 cup Parmesan cheese (shredded)
3 tablespoons Fresh basil (minced)
2 tablespoons Capers (drained)
2 teaspoons Grated lemon zest

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Cook the linguine as directed by the packaging, add the broccoli during the last 5 minutes of the pasta's cook time.
  2. Meanwhile heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and lemon juice in the skillet and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir constantly.
  4. Add the salmon, salt, and pepper to the skillet and let it heat through. Drain the broccoli and pasta mixture and add it to the skillet. Stir in the Parmesan, basil, capers, and lemon zest
