Grandma Pullins' Black Raspberry Pie

<p>Grandma Pullins is known for her excellent pies. As the matriarch of a large family she easily makes 10 pies for a family dinner!</p>

Serves: 6-8 slices depending on how hungry you are!


Ingredients
1 1/2 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/2 tsp. tapioca
4 cups black raspberries (equilivant is 1 quart)
1 piecrust

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Boil water with 1/2 cup water. In separate bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar, cornstarch and tapioca. Add dry mixture to boiling mixture. Slowly add raspberries. Stir in between pours. Pour into prepared pie crust and add pie curst top. Bake at 425 degrees for about 40-45 minutes.
  2. Either fresh or frozen black raspberries can be used in this recipe.
